The race will start at 8 am on Sunday, June 1 on Twin Towers Drive in Plover, WI (just north of Tomorrow River State Trailhead towards Black Oak Dr).
Yes and yes. There will be parking spots available at the starting line at a small trailhead parking lot and on Water Way in the Wisconsin Rural Water Association parking lot (this road is right off of Twin Towers Dr). Please note that if you elect to park at the starting line, you are responsible for coordinating your way back after the race.
There will be a shuttle from Central Waters to the starting line prior to the race. We will have two buses that will start loading at the brewery at 6:45 am. The first will depart at 7:00 am and the second at 7:10 am. It is a 15-20 minute drive to the start.
You can always be dropped off near the start by a friend too. Consider carpooling as well.
Packet pickup will take place on Saturday, May 31 and the morning of the race. More details to come!
Yes, you may check in your gear at the starting line and it will be brought back to Central Waters to pickup after. If you park at Central Waters, you can leave stuff in your vehicle as well.
Over 9 miles of the course will be on the Tomorrow River State Trail which is a chipped limestone trail. Please note that if it rains the day of or day before, that there could be mud due to the nature of the trail. The trail is pretty flat. Sections of it are in alleys of trees and will have shade.
The trail is more narrow than a traditional road race so please be courteous to other runners! Please pass others on the left and be respectful when you are passing or get passed - allow everyone room to pass, please.
The starting line is roughly ~.3 miles before your first left-hand turn onto the trail. At the start of the race, everyone will be more congested so please also be courteous at this first turn of the race as it may be more crowded, depending on participant numbers.
